Aether exists to completely remove the centralized bottlenecks that currently exist inside blockchain ecosystems — including custodial asset storage, custodial bridging, centralized identity verification, and off-chain settlement layers. These are the attack surfaces and trust points that weaken decentralization. Aether replaces them with decentralized, cryptographic, on-chain primitives. We aim to enable self-custody, secure cross-chain interoperability, privacy-preserving identity, and programmable payments that any user can access globally without permission, without trusting intermediaries, and without sacrificing control. *** #### **Vision** Our vision is a Web3 world where users, applications, and value flow freely across chains without losing privacy or sovereignty.
